You require a website account to post events on this website. The account is not the same as an executive account and is separate. Use the Member Login process to request an account or contact the Branch IT admin for details. Once you have a website account you need to be assigned a Posting Role.

When logged in with your account you should see an additional menu just above the website menu. Hover your mouse over “West Nipissing Legion Branch 225” and a dropdown menu will appear. Click on Dashboard. A sidebar will now appear.

Click on Posts then click Add New.
Title: Enter a clear and concise title in the designated field.
Content: Enter a brief synopsis of the event your posting.
Categories: Select a category in the right sidebar.
Tags: Use tags to provide specific search keywords for your posts.

Adding Media
On the right sidebar click on “Set featured image”
Uploading Files: You can upload image or video files from your computer. File size limit is shown.
Inserting Media: Once a file is uploaded, you can insert the media as the featured image for your post.

Adding Documents
In the content field where it says “Type/to choose a block” go to the right side of this block and click the “+” sign.
Click in the Search field and type “file”. Click on the file block. In the file block click on Upload and select a file from your computer.
Note: You should ensure the document is a .pdf format. Not all devices can open Word Docs, Google Docs, etc.
Upon uploading your .pdf you will notice the document open in a huge window. You do not want this. On the right sidebar under PDF settings deselect “Show inline embed” and under Settings deselect “Show download button”.

Publish
When you’re ready to make your post live, click the “Publish” button.

Click here to run the advertising sequence on TV’s located within the Branch. Please note, the TV should have web browsing capability.
